Yamaue Aiki Jutsu /Kuroyaki Ryu Ju Jitsu are a non political group of clubs, who ‘s aim is to unite like minded people in exchanging their Knowledge and ideas for the good of the arts. Our standards are very high, as is that of our members.
Ju Jitsu Scotland was formed in 1996 by our senior instructor Phil Blackburn, who founded the group after moving in the area after many years of training in the south under some of this country's best Ju Jitsu instructors The system of Ju jitsu which he teaches along side Yamaue Aiki Jutsu was named in 2008 by Soke Yamaue, the name give was “Kuroyaki Ryu” His aim along with fellow instructor George Allison is to provide high-class training for their own students, To reach these aims, we have very strong link with some of the worlds best martial arts instructors.
